Chencho Gyeltshen is a Bhutanese international footballer, currently plays for Thimphu City. He is set to play with Thai Premier League club Buriram United in June 2015. He is affectionately nicknamed "CG7" and "The Ronaldo of Bhutan", because of his style of play. He played for Yeedzin in the 2014 Bhutan National League.

Chencho Gyeltshen hails from the Shapa Gewog of the Paro District. He started playing football since primary school. His brother inspired him to play football. He views football player, Cristiano Ronaldo as his inspiration.

He attended Kelki Higher Secondary School until class XII. He decided to stop his studies to become a professional football player.

In 2014, he played for Yeedzin in the Bhutan National League.

Chencho Gyeltshen currently plays for Thimphu City.

In 2014, He was offered to sign up with Nepalese club Machhindra FC after his performance at the 2013 King's Cup and was reported to agree to join with the club but could not do so until the next year due to his studies.
